Aufgaben

We are currently seeking a dynamic New Customer Acquisition Specialst (m|f|d) based in Göttingen (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH). In this position you will specialize in support and promotion of our Bioprocess Solutions Product portfolio to grow the customer base. You will uncover and develop leads by understanding our product portfolio, customer needs and market trends across the bioprocess solutions areas.

  • Identification, selection and develop prospects within untapped accounts for Sartorius Bioprocess Solutions products/services
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape to identify and track target customers
  • Conduct customer specific meetings in order to identify key areas of interest
  • Work closely with Marketing partners and internal stakeholders to utilize resources to support value offerings as well as generate early stage leads
  • Develop strategies and presentation materials to meet customer specific needs (based on development timelines and type of decision maker)
  • Pass on account leads and relevant information to other Sartorius Sales Organizations for accounts that do not yet have sales
  • Closely monitor and pay continuous attention to key changes in product portfolio and key market changes


Profil

What will convince us

  • A bachelor's degree in a Life Science/Biotechnology discipline or similar
  • First years of working experience in Sales within the biopharmaceutical industry or selling relevant technologies into a parallel industry is a benefit
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings using Microsoft Teams and other multi-media channels
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a benefit
  • Very good oral and written communication in German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Knowledge of using sales tools such as Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn, etc. is a plus
  • A high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure
  • Good analytical skills to use customer dashboards
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
